Welcome to our blog! We are Emily and Matt Rhinehart, and each year we try to see as much as we can while holding down our day jobs. We try to make the most of our paid time off and weekends. We named this blog the “vacation voyagers” for that reason, as all of our travels occur during our vacations from work.
We started this blog to share our best travel tips with you, as we have spent many hours researching countless destinations across the world. We’ve done the research so you don’t have to!
Our vacations typically include some hiking or physical activity, multiple excursions, a ton of fun, incredible food (and wine!), and once in a lifetime experiences. Our goal is to help you plan your next trip and answer any questions you may have. Hopefully this blog will inspire you to plan your next adventure and see the world!

Emily is a registered dental hygienist who is fascinated by all things medicine and science. Emily graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore’s Dental Hygiene school. In her free time, Emily enjoys being active, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. She is the brains behind all of our trips, constantly looking up the best things to do and see in each of the locations we’ll be visiting. She lays out all of the puzzle pieces and paints an overall picture of what the best possible trip would look like.

Matt is a product owner for a Fortune 100 company. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, and loves history. In his free time he enjoys lifting weights, reading, and watching or playing sports. While Emily lays out all the puzzle pieces, Matt assembles that puzzle. He plans the trip itself to ensure that we can do everything we want in the most economical and efficient way possible.
